In the two photos above, the water in the distance is the bottom of the spillway which is heading down into the Torrens River
This is the dam at Kangaroo Creek in South Australia where the water is being released from, that was heading down the Torrens River in the pictures that I posted on my blog yesterday.
I wanted to take a photo of the spillway with the water rushing down, but I thought it was a bit dangerous standing on the edge of the road in case I got knocked down by a car. Didn't think a photo would be worth that.
It is wonderful to see the dam so full ... so much water is awesome after so long having a drought.
