In the two photos above, the water in the distance is the bottom of the spillway which is heading down into the Torrens River
Day 12 - 16th October 2009This is the dam at Kangaroo Creek in South Australia where the water is being released from, that was heading down the Torrens River in the pictures that I posted on my blog yesterday.
I wanted to take a photo of the spillway with the water rushing down, but I thought it was a bit dangerous standing on the edge of the road in case I got knocked down by a car. Didn't think a photo would be worth that.
It is wonderful to see the dam so full ... so much water is awesome after so long having a drought.
