Then something nice happens and you forget the negative.......

My new Sarong ... a gift from a friend who went to some islands on a cruise
so touched that she thought of me and I love it, especially the colour.
Beautiful Roses
A perfect bud

The roses on this bush are truly magnificent, both in colour and smell.
I have never smelt anything like them ... their perfume is devine.
BUSY BUSY BUSY

I can't believe I haven't written on my blog for about a week now, but life has just been one great roller coaster ride and so tiring.

When Blogtoberfest was on I found time to blog every day which I just loved. The creative juices were flowing. Suddenly in the past 2 weeks I have been extra busy with work and just haven't had the time.

I've still been on my blog to see who has been there and been on the blogs I always check out, but as for finding time to write or take photos it's been hard.

It's hard to find the time when you are snowed under and tired. The weather has been hot too and I don't do hot weather very well.

I can't sleep right now so I thought I'd blog. Might as well make use of the time when the house is at peace. Decided to upload photos to my computer. I realised what beautiful things I had seen this week and even though I thought I hadn't taken time to snap some pictures, I did and I found these on my camera.

Right now I feel so grateful for these beautiful creations. There is so much beauty in the world and sometime I think that we don't stop long enough to see it. We get so caught up in the mundane of life, that we don't pause to see the simple beauty that surrounds us. I am constantly in awe of nature and the way that it clothes our earth in colour and beauty.

It is easy to get caught up in the negatives of life. The guy that cuts you off on the road, the person that gets in the queue ahead of you at the supermarket, even when you know you were first. Then something nice happens and you forget the negative.

Just when I was feeling so overloaded my boss came back from a cruise to some islands and when I saw her yesterday she gave me the gorgeous Sarong above. I was so touched to think that she would think of me and buy me something. I just love the colour and it really brightened my day.

Lovely sarong! Pretty flowers too. When you take your camera everywhere you do take photos, even without realising. I find now when I don't have my camera with me I wish I did because I see something photoworthy. I have been struggling to post as much as I did in blogtober too. I am trying to concentrate on it more, because I think it helps me to see the positive in my days. When I HAVE TO post I look for something positive to post about.
