I was speaking to a friend today from Victoria and she had put together 200 toiletry packs for the victims of the bushfires.
They are particularly in need of:
TOILETRIES - toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, brushes, combs....that type of thing. I guess all the things that we would normally use daily.
TORCHES AND BATTERIES......particularly the type that fit on your keys, but any type will do.
SHOES.... they need children's shoes.
CLOTHES....they are also in need of children's clothing.
DONATE BLOOD...... If you are able to donate blood then please go to your local Red Cross blood bank donation point and do so - it will be very much needed in the coming days.
PET FOOD.....they are desparately in need of dog food, cat food, hay for horses, etc.
COMFORT PACKS FOR CHILDREN.....One online organisation is looking for articles to go in their comfort packs for children - Beyond Pink and Blue
