Well I'm off to Victoria for the easter Break. Am leaving early Thursday morning and can't wait. Our church is having a Single Adult Convention (single, divorced, widowed, never married...ages 31 to 99) over easter and my friend and I are off to have some fun.
It is being held at a place called Licola Village in Gippsland, Victoria. If you go to the link you can read all about it. Seems like a great place to go and should be very pretty.
I hear they have heaps of activities planned and so we should be pretty busy most of the time. I am also looking forward to some rest and relaxation......but I don't know how much of that will be happening. I'm sure we will have some free time outside the planned activities. I'm taking a good book with me in the hopes of getting some reading done.
I look forward to getting in my car early Thursday morning (hope to be off by 5am) with my friend and driving off into the sunrise, music blaring (not too loud) although if my friend has her way we'll be wearing out the John Farnham CD's. That's cool!! We will be taking a variety of music so I'm sure there will be something for both of us to enjoy.
I also plan to take my camera with me so I can take heaps of photos.....imagine all the blogging I will have to do when I get back.
I am so looking forward to the time away with a group of adults.....and no one expecting me to do anything for them. A chance to recharge my batteries and some time for self-reflection.
So look out Victoria ...here we come!!!!!!
