Some time ago I wrote a post about making a wedding dress for my niece. Well the day has finally arrived - Saturday 16th is the big day and the DRESS IS FINALLY FINISHED. YAY!!! As I said in my previous post I can't really put any photos of the dress on my blog, because well that would really spoil the surprise for everybody on the day and I don't think my niece would appreciate me giving everyone a sneak peak.
It's a bit nerve racking making a wedding dress, especially making sure that you get it exactly as the bride wants it, but I'm pleased with the job I've done and the bride loves the dress......and in the end that's the most important thing. In fact the bride to be was a pleasure to work with.
I am sure that she is going to look very beautiful and it will be a lovely wedding. Call me old fashioned, but I do love weddings.
Oh and by the way, be sure that I will post lots of photos of the big day after the weekend.
