THE BEST SHOES (AND MOST COMFY BY FAR) THAT I'VE EVER HAD

.....Albeit the most expensive ..... but so worth it.

By yesterday morning I'd had enough. I brought a new pair of work shoes not that long ago (probably about 2 or 3 months ago) which seemed quite comfortable at the time. That was until I started wearing them to work and showering my clients (I am a personal carer/support worker). They had stitching down the centre front of the shoes and water began to leak into the holes at the top and bottom of the stitching. My socks were constantly wet and of course over time my shoes started to stink. I'd spray all those sprays in them that you can buy that are supposed to kill odour, but nothing seemed to really take the smell away.

That was until yesterday morning, like I said, when I just couldn't take it any more and bit the bullet. I headed for the shoe shop first thing in the morning and at the first shop that I found I tried on a pair of duty shoes. They felt like heaven. I put them on at the shop and have only taken them off to go to bed.

It probably seems funny to write a blog about shoes, but I just couldn't help it. I am so happy to have such comfy shoes and I'm sure my feet and legs are too. I'm on my feet all day with my work and I figure it's worth it to have good shoes.
