The A to Z of things you may or may not know about me ....

A ......  AUSTRALIA ... I was born there
B ....... BROTHERS ... I have two,  Russell and Steven 
C ....... CHILDREN .... I have five - 2 girls, 3 boys 
D ....... DAUGHTERS ... I have two - Two girls 
E ........ ECLECTIC ... That's my reading style, anything and everything 
F ........ FAMILY .... I come from a family of 5 children - 3 girls and two boys

G ....... GENERATIONS .... I have had 3 sets of 5 generations alive in my life time.  Once when my twin sister and I were born, once when my niece was born, and once when my great nephew was born.  I am grateful for the generations past, for because of them I am here, and I am grateful for the generations that will be for the importance of their input into the future of the world.
H ....... HOME ... My home is here in Adelaide at the moment, but I grew up in Victoria, so I sort of consider that my real home, I'll always be a Victorian.
I ......... INTERESTS ... I have many ... I love sewing, knitting, reading, genealogy, photography, scrapbooking, blogging, helping other people, among other things.
J .........   JOY ... I try to find Joy in as many things as possible, but most of all I find joy in serving others.
K ........   KINDNESS .... an important word to me.   I like to think that we can all make a difference in the world with Kindness.  Kindness is catching.  Kindness begins with me.  Two little sayings that have stuck with me since childhood.
L .........  LILIAN ... my grandmother's middle name ... so pretty.
M ........  MOTHERS .... I love being a mother and think that it is the most wonderful calling that I have ever had in my life.  I feel blessed to have become a mother and had the experience.
N .........   NIECES AND NEPHEWS ... I have 8 nieces and 7 nephews and I have 4 great nieces and 4 great nephews
O .........   ORGANISING ... something I could use help with and want to be better at.  My dream is to be completely organised in all I do.
P ..........  PIANO ... I love the piano and can play a little.  I have had lessons and would love to go back to it when I have the time.  My great grandmother played the piano and I feel close to her when I hear a piano playing. 
Q .........  QUILTS .... I love patchwork quilts.  I've never made one, but it is my goal in the coming year to make one for my daughter.  She wants a quilt that has the main color as black and bright colors in between. 
R ..........   READING ... something I love doing more than anything else.  Nothing like a good book, soft armchair and an open fire on a rainy day.
S ...........  SISTERS ... I have an identical twin and one that is 16 months younger
T ..........  TRAVEL .... Something I want to do more than anything.  It is my dream to travel overseas and around the world.
U .........   UNIVERSITY ... I have gone back to studying at University, through Open University and am currently studying a Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences with a major in Psychology.

V .........  VICTORIA ... the place where I was born and where I grew up.
W ........  WATER ... I love water.  It has an extremely calming affect on me.  I love waterfalls and water features ...... I find water soothing and peaceful.

Z .........  ZIPS ... Something I hate sewing in to garments.
