MY CHRISTMAS ANGEL ....

Fuzzy photo ..... empty tree
(some of the photos were a little blurry .. must be
tired).

A MUST HAVE ...... Star for the top of the tree

Miss 20 is right into Christmas ... she wanted the tree up, so finally last night we did it.  I have really struggled this year with the whole Christmas thing, and it is so hard when your daughter loves it all so much.  I want to be in the spirit, but don't quite feel it in my heart.  So biting the bullet, I spent time with my daughter and we decorated the tree.

Went out and brought some new decorations.
I must say it looks very pretty
or
as Miss 20 says ... "isn't it purty mum"...... LOL.

Her happiness and joy does bring a little warmth to my heart.  In her childlike way she instills in me a love of the true meaning of Christmas.  She is so excited and happy to buy and give gifts to others.  She has such a caring, kind and giving nature.  Despite her challenges (she has Asperger Syndrome) she finds it in her heart to share with others.  For that I am truly grateful and blessed.
She is my Christmas Angel

It's lovely! I'm not really feeling Christmas this year and I have a Christmas obsessed 4 year old.

Oh it looks gorgeous. We've not put our tree up yet, we always wait until 24th December (it's a German thing :-)).

Damn that tree looks AWESOME! I love all the colour! It's great! I usually love putting the tree up, but this year we're not going to be home so I don't see the point. But I really miss having it up. Oh well, next year will be different.

Your tree is beautiful! I'm sorry you're not feeling it in your heart this year. I hope as Christmas gets closer you will.
