These photos are courtesy of my neighbours front lawns. They go to so much effort to make them look lovely. It's nice to go out at night and just have a look. My 17 y/old D loves going to have a look at the lights.....they are very pretty.Well it's only just over a week now till Christmas Day will be here. Some of us have already done our shopping, but if you are like me, well I just do it at the last minute. I admit it, I procrastinate. There are all kinds of jokes out there about women loving to shop, etc., but as for me I do not really like shopping at all. I'm not into the whole CROWD thing. Crowded shops and queues just don't do it for me. I'd rather be home relaxing in a chair. Although, having said that I do love the idea of giving gifts to others, just not going out in the busy world shopping for them.
Santas a bit blurry in this one, but oh well, thought I'd use it anyway....it still looks nice, even if a little fuzzy.I do however love the whole Christmas thing. I love all the lights, the trees, the carols and the whole spiritual meaning of Christmas. To me it is such a beautiful season. To me it is also about families and being together.
I know some people don't adhere to the religious/spiritual side of Christmas, but for me that's the most important thing of all.
