I got out of my car yesterday in the driveway and found this flower growing out of a cactus in my garden. I've never seen a flower there before and I'm not even sure what sort of cactus it is. I know it must have been there for sometime and I just haven't seen it. I'm guessing it must be one of those things that doesn't flower very often. Maybe it has flowered before, but I've never noticed it. I just had to take some photos and put them on here. So pretty. I love the colour.
Makes me think that there are many things in life that we don't see, and when we do notice them we wonder why we were so blind to them up till that point in time. Life goes on around us and we don't even know what is happening. I'm so glad that I took these photos and that I finally noticed them, really noticed them and not just saw them in the garden.

It is strange when you discover something new and you wonder whether it was there all along or not. Very strange! Beautiful flowers!
